Our design team has over 30 years
of experience in interior design. Our 4 year interior
design degrees equip each of us to better assist you
with decisions regarding material selections, product
performance and the latest technology. As professional
designers, we work with you to assess the spatial
design and personal style for your dream kitchen or
bath.
Karen Black,
C.K.D.
Interior Designer
Karen graduated from the University
of Oklahoma with an Interior Design degree through
the College of Architecture. She has been designing
and implementing kitchens for 24 years. Karen has
been honored by serving as a judge for the National
CKD Design Competition in New York and also serves
as a judge on the University of Oklahoma Interior
Design Senior Portfolio Review. She is an officer
for the local NKBA (National Kitchen & Bathroom
Assoc.) chapter. Karen has received numerous design
awards, lighting awards, and magazine publications
such as House Beautiful, Colonial Homes, Women's Day
and the front cover of Kitchens by Professionals.
Jennifer
Reniers, C.K.D.
Interior Designer
Jennifer has been working for a
karen black company 10 years. Jennifer started as
an assistant while still in college and is the
Senior designer on staff. Jennifer is a graduate of
the University of Central Oklahoma with Bachelor of
Fine Arts degree studying Interior Design. Jennifer
is a C.K.D (Certified Kitchen Designer), a member of
the NKBA (National Kitchen & Bath Association), and is an allied member of ASID
(American Society of Interior Designers). She has
served as a judge on the 2006 ASID Design
competition and has attended various Wood-Mode
training programs.
Leroy Estes
Interior Designer
Leroy is a designer on staff with
three years at
a karen black company. Leroy holds a Bachelor
of Fine Arts degree from the University of Central
Oklahoma where he studied Interior Design. He is a
member of the NKBA (National Kitchen & Bathroom
Assoc.) He has completed the Wood-Mode Sales Training
Seminar for LifeStyle Design.
Installation
Crews
Our installation crews are our own
employees rather than subcontractors allowing us to
keep the best schedules for our clients' projects.
They are helpful, friendly and the best at what they
do. The crews are made up of mentors, installers and
apprentices. Mentors have a minimum of 3 years and
installers a minimum of 1 year with our company.
Office Manager
Pam is in her third year with a
karen black company and will be glad to take your
call and direct you to the correct designer.
